Prices include flights, transfers, half board accommodation and a Mango co-ordinator who will be with the group. Each morning after breakfast the co-ordinator will meet up with the group and will organise a programme of activities and visits. There will also be a get together before dinner so that the group can go into the dining room and eat together.
Prices are based on flights from Southampton – Flights are available from a number of other UK airports: Birmingham, Bournemouth, Bristol, Coventry, East Midlands, Edinburgh, Exeter, Liverpool, London Gatwick, London Heathrow, Luton, Manchester, Norwich, Plymouth, Southampton. Regional flight supplements may apply.
**Please note the local payment is part of the holiday cost and is payable to the Mango co-ordinator on arrival in resort. We have to make some payments in cash in resort and by collecting this part of the holiday cost in this way we are able to keep our overall prices down.
Jersey is a fantastic destination for families and we are repeating this destination due to its never ending popularity! Jersey is the most southerly Island of the British Isles and the Met Office often rates Jersey as the sunniest place in the British Isles. Its beaches are wonderful. On Jersey they range from vast, surf-pounded strands to golden coves tucked under heather-covered cliffs.
Jersey beaches are wonderful. There are golden sandy beaches to suit all tastes. For those who want to try surfing, St. Ouen's is a four mile stretch of beach on the Atlantic coast, where you can have lessons and kit is available for hire. Or you might prefer body boarding, which is a bit easier. St Brelades is a family-orientated beach, with its gently shelving sweep of sand backed by hotels, cafes and bucket-and-spade shops. If you like walking, there's a footpath to follow along the cliffs of the little-developed north coast.
The island has lots of fun places to visit for children of all ages. Top of the bill is Jersey Zoo, which aims to save animals from extinction (and therefore appeals to many who don't usually approve of zoos). Elizabeth Castle is fun to visit due to its unique location. Walk across the causeway at low tide or catch the amphibious ferry. There's the Maize Maze - a children's adventure park, Aquasplash Leisure Pool in St Helier, Living Legends, where we can play mini-golf and try go-karting as well as many other attractions. We can take the tourist train to St Aubins or the more energetic can hire bikes and cycle there. In St Helier there is a Jersey Museum and a Marine Museum. From Chuckle Brother Bickers we can hire two or four seater bikes and ride along the prom.
The hotel provides a courtesy bus into St Helier where we can go to the beach and organise beach games. There are also many beaches on the island that can be easily reached, and there is also the opportunity to take a boat trip to France which is only 14 miles away. This can be arranged through the Mango co-ordinator.

I thought I would just drop you an email to let you know that myself and my son, Sam had a great time in Jersey. We both made lots of friends and even though the other kids were older than Sam they were absolutely fantastic with him. He loved all the attention and he did not really want to come home. He also had a lovely birthday.
I would like to add that Linda the co-ordinator was absolutely brilliant and her son, Daniel is now Sam's new best friend. He was a treasure and we are hoping to keep in touch with Linda and Daniel. We will most probably come to the Christmas Party in November.

We will be staying half board at the Mayfair Hotel in St Helier, Jersey. The hotel has recently been officially upgraded to a three star hotel and is conveniently located only a few minutes walk from the bustling shops of St Helier and a ten minute stroll from the beach at Havre des Pas.
Within the hotel there is an indoor swimming pool that is heated all year round. This is great fun for all ages. Alternatively, unwind in the Jacuzzi beside the pool or relax in the adjacent steam room.
There is a fully equipped gymnasium that has 21 independent exercise machines along with some free weights to work all parts of the body. There is also a games room situated near the swimming pool, with a toddlers soft play area. The hotel has a bar and a coffee shop. There is entertainment in the hotel on most evenings and the hotel has a Kids Club with a range of fun activities for children aged from 5 to 12 years.
All bedrooms are en-suite and have TV, radio and tea and coffee making facilities. The evening meals are served in the spacious dining room. Vegetarians are well catered for. The Mayfair Hotel is an ideal base for exploring the whole of Jersey.
