**Please note the local payment is part of the holiday cost and payable to the Mango co-ordinator on arrival in resort. We have to make some payments in cash in resort and collecting this part of the holiday cost this way enables us to keep our overall prices down.
Flights and Transfers: Your Mango holiday cost is based on London flights. Flights from regional airports such as Manchester, Birmingham, Luton are available on request but regional supplements may apply. Please request availability at the time of booking.
Prices include: flights, transfers, accommodation (apartment with kitchen) on a half board basis and a Mango co-ordinator who will be with the group.
Each morning after breakfast we meet up with the Mango co-ordinator who will organise a programme of activities and visits. There will also be a get together before dinner so that the group can go into the dining room and eat together.
Lanzarote an island situated just 79 miles off the coast of Africa and the most easterly of the Canary Islands. It enjoys a mild, dry climate with average daytime temperatures ranging from about 21�C in January to 29�C in August. This makes Lanzarote the perfect year-round destination.
The extraordinary volcanic landscape of Lanzarote is one of the main attractions for many visitors, many parts of Lanzarote appear to be from another world, and are often described as 'lunar' or 'Martian'.
Unlike its neighbours Tenerife & Gran Canaria, Lanzarote only allows the construction of low storey buildings, a myriad of white walls and black gravel gardens greet you and even better bill boards have been banned.
Costa Teguise is situated on the East coast of the island, a perfect resort for a relaxed family holiday with an abundance of sand sun and sea. The resort offers shopping centres, sea front bars and restaurants. Its most scenic beach is Playa de las Cucharas 200m from our chosen hotel, sheltered with golden sand and calm waters ideal for families.
Lanzarote has lots to offer and lots of fun things to do. Our resort is not far from the Aqua Park, home to many different slides and pools (including child slides / pool) making it a great family day out.
Why not get your camel driving license! Take an excursion to Timanfaya National Park and ride your camel across the beautiful volcanic landscape.
A holiday on Lanzarote is as lively or as tranquil as you choose to make it, with charming towns and villages as well as bustling towns with shops and seafront cafes. It is hot but never too hot as the cooling breezes drift in from the sea.
Accommodation
We will be staying 7 and 14 nights at the 3 star aparthotel Lanzarote Gardens on a half board basis. This is a family hotel 200m from the best family beach in Costa Teguise. A few metres from the hotel is a shopping area with bars and boutiques and the resort centre is only a 10 minutes stroll from the hotel along the beach!
You have the best of both worlds with this hotel. You will be staying in a one bedroomed apartment with its own kitchen, living room (with foldaway bed) and separate twin bedroom. This gives you the use of a fridge, enabling you to self cater at lunchtime. Each apartment has a TV with international channels and its own balcony or terrace.

Each day after breakfast we all meet up with the Mango Holiday co-ordinator to plan the activity for the day. You might want to hire a car and see more of the island. (Don't forget to bring your Driving Licence.) The holiday can be as relaxing or as busy as you like.

Mango Holidays sometimes referred to as MangoKids run holidays for single parents with their children. Small families with just one or two children are often penalised by the big tour operators who charge for two adults.
