Price includes half board accommodation at the family-run 2 star Ocean Hotel at Sandown and the services of a Mango coordinator. You need to arrange your own transport to and from the hotel, ferry crossings are not included in the price. Entrance fees and transport to attractions are not included. We will car share, use public transport or hire a minibus for visits.
The Isle of Wight is a fantastic destination families and we are pleased to introduce this destination to our portfolio. The Island measures only 23 miles by 13 miles. There are fun parks with thrilling rides, animal and bird sanctuaries, pretty villages, castles and lots of lovely beaches. The Isle of Wight is a stunning Island with unspoilt scenery and a wealth of fascinating attractions.
ACCOMMODATION
We will be staying half board at the family-run Ocean Hotel overlooking the sea in Sandown. A lovely 2 star hotel just a few minutes walk from the shops. The hotel has a heated outdoor swimming pool and children's pool.
The Ocean Hotel, is set in large attractive gardens and is conveniently placed in the High Street as well as the Esplanade with the long, sandy and safe beach of Sandown Bay only a few steps away. You and your children can enjoy the easy going freedom of this friendly family run hotel. All rooms are en-suite, with colour TV, radio, tea/coffee making facilities and baby listening. The hotel is set in large gardens. There is also a Games room with full size snooker table, table tennis and darts.
Mango Group Holiday Fun
Each morning after breakfast your Mango co-ordinator will meet up with the group and will organise a programme of events and visits. There will also be a get together before dinner so that the group can go into the restaurant to dine together.
If the weather is fine and you want to take it easy, we can relax on the beach or by the pool. But we will plan a range of optional visits so that you can choose how relaxing or active you want your holiday to be. If the weather is less than perfect we can visit the pool at Heights Leisure Centre in Sandown. The Model Village at Godshill or the Steam Railway at Ryde make interesting visits.
The Summer Arcade at Shanklin, just a few miles from Sandown provides great all weather entertainment for young children with Jungle Jim's giant indoor play area, ball pools, a tiny tots area, crazy golf and ten-pin bowling. In Sandown itself there is a Dinosaur Isle visitor centre with life-size models of five island Dinosaurs. At Newport there is Colemans Animal Farm fun with friendly animals (Lambs, Goats, baby rabbits, guinea pigs, Highland cattle, pigs, ponies, ducks, geese, chickens and many more) as well as Daily Activities and Events, Straw Fun Barn.
There is also a Gift Shop, Picnic Areas, a Tractor Fun Park and a Peddle car Race Track.

Mango Holidays sometimes referred to as MangoKids run holidays for single parents with their children.
